Well the new year is here and we can only hope for a better year. These past two have been good and bad and I suppose that is true with every year. Just really worry bout this pandemic and what is next. I see mandates changing constantly and sporting events being cancelled and it is very difficult to see the light at the end of the tunnel. My boy just turned 10 and he has lost two years of socialization. I have to feel like that will hurt him in the long run, but am trying my best to keep him engaged. Man do I worry about his development and I know his Mother is doing a good job with him. He does seem to be a happy boy though and for than I am thankful.
I believe their were 19 NCAA basketball games cancelled yesterday, and I believe we have lost 4 of the NCAA bowl games. The NFL is struggling to keep players healthy and juggling their rosters and even had games that had to more their dates. Sports is important however our health and safety is so much more important. I am grateful that we had our fiesta in December and hopeful to have another in the Spring.
My older boy is soon to be 22 and he is working in real estate and I could not be more proud of him. His Mother has done an outstanding job with him. She is a tough cookie and together we made a great child. I missed so much of his life, but with modern technology we managed to communicate often. Hoping to see them before the Spring. The two boys get along fine even though they grew up apart and have 12 years difference. They are in good health and I take great comfort in that.
The ladies are in good spirits and I hope to write a blog about them soon. My phone keeps ringing while writing this and time is slipping away. I thought on this quiet morning I could have 30 minutes to myself but that was wishful thinking I guess. I will be back soon.
Please exercise patience while out in the streets. We all need some bit of attitude adjustment and hopefully we don’t lose sight of what is really important. I will be back soon, so please be carefu and make safe decisions.
